Bad Habits vs. Good Habits

Meet Johnny Procrastination, a mid-thirties young man whom will go above and beyond to do the least amount of work possible while still trying to achieve his perfect body. See, like most beginner fitness aspirers, Johnny fears hurt therefore will still do each workout yet will do so in a strategic halfhearted manner so that he may reap the benefits of the exercise, minus the pain. First, he'll take much longer than a suficient amount of time (60 seconds) to catch his breath before beginning his next exercise. This decision can prolong the estimated time of arrival for the sculptured physique you wish to acquire as the more the heart beats the more fat is burned and the more toned you become. Staying in his comfort zone is another bad habit Johnny embraces; lifting the same amount of weight for the same amount of sets, for the same amount of time will make for not only a boring workout but also will not challenge your body in the least bit and produce boring results.Lastly, Johnny also spends the entire amount of his warm up strething. note: cold muscles are not made of elastic therefore stretching should only be done spuratically during your warm up and the majority should consist of running.

Here's what Johnny should do. Never take longer than a minute to rest after completing one exercise and transitioning to another, the more your heart races the more you'll drop fat and replace it with muscle and leanness. Next, change it up, variety in a workout can lead to faster and more dominat character in your newly acquired physique. If you feel the weight you began with can now be lifted with ease, step your game up and lift more weight. Lastly, don't believe warm up time is lazy time, take this time to pace yourself for the upcoming intensity of the actual workout; keep your heart racing and spend the majority of this time running. These are the good habits Johnny must embrace if he chooses to acquire the best possible sculptured body. What do you think?
