Full Frontal Feminism (Last chunk)

I understood Jessica Valenti's main arguement to be that the mistreatment of woman around the world is due to the harsh environment that people (namely men) have developed by way of their own masogynistic views and/or opinions. Besides these masogynistic men, whom do you believe to be at fault for the for this very unfavorable present which women inhabit? Furthermore, why do you believe women, such as Jessica Valenti whom are aware that these thingts are taking place around them, don't always speak out against it?

Based on the sometimes harsh language used by Jessica Valenti, it seems to me that she has either witnessed and/or experienced life in such a way that she's come to the conclusion that many males feel a sense of superiority over women. Their are double standards in many aspects of life, including but not limited to promiscuity and the work place, which always seem to favor men. Men are still being paid greater amounts than women and a man's reputtaion will be less than tarnished if e chose to lead a life of debauchery. Where do you think these beliefs origintaed and why do ou think they continue to exist today?
